hangover days;
the remains of yesterday
coating the tongue,
flocking teeth,
fogging brain
and clouding judgement.
But I would not
have it any other way.
for all to soon
a terminally
dry refrain,
never to drink dram again.

They boil away in my tiny brain until they bubble up at silly o’clock on a Sunday night/Monday morning. I’m pretty sure I was born in the wrong time zone. Parenting failure clearly 😉
